Or it could end with some kind of unity being achieved. That would fit just as well with the themes you've pointed out; people could actually learn their lesson as opposed to dying because they're stubborn to the end.

hum... isn't it Petyr Baelish the one who poisoned Jon Arryn? I mean thats litterally the reason why he was executed without trial by Aria, would suck for him if it was indeed the Lannister who poisoned Jon instead of Petyr. I would also argue that its Cercei who gave the power to the high sparrow, to get rid of the tyrell, but karma came back hit her ass when the high sparrow then turned his head to her after. For Syrio, the way he knocked out all the lannister guard but one with a wooden sword, I think its more the fact he had only a wooden sword that make him lost his 1 vs 1 vs Meryn Trent. For Robb, I think its love that kill him, not pride, he met a woman which he love and wanted to marry her despite his word, which he break to marry her. I dont think it qualify as pride to break your word to marry the woman you truly love. For the night watch, I think its hatred that caused them to die, they tought letting the wildling come inside the wall would cause them to fall, but I dont think they were overly confident to their ability to fight off the wildling, they were not even 300, Jon even lied about being a thousand and a thousand thats not a big number against 100k wildling. Also its unlikely to mankind to all fall, only westeros would fall, otherwise when Jon Snow faced the night king in his boat fleeing from him, if he can send his dead army in water he would have done so against Jon boat. And his dragon, Daenaris got 2 of them so I think the dragon of the night king could be dealt during the westeros fight before he have turn his eye to others islands.

It'd be nice if the walkers do win and either get rid of humanity in Westeros, at least for a time, then die since their purpose was completed, or just get rid of society as it is, but leave survivors which will rebuild, then test them again years later to see if this society is any different, if they have learned anything. If so, then their purpose is again complete, but I doubt it'll happen. Most likely Jon and Daenerys will win and they'll reform Westeros enough that it's now a decent place, and they either get rid of the walkers or the walkers don't see them as a threat anymore.

I agree to the point that 'No One' should rule and a Democracy should be installed. So maybe George Bush can sit on the throne! But if someone has to, if only one person must, then I feel it's Jon Snow, aka Aegon Targaryen, the rightful heir to the Throne, not Daenerys. So it will be interesting to see how Jon takes the news and what he does with it. Then if he reveals it, how will Dany take it? She's so damned obsessed with the throne, that what Samwell says is true, Jon gave up his crown to save his people, can Daenerys do the same?

And you're tying this in to become an earlier version of Geological Themed show. Man ruins Earth, Earth fights back. You stated that Man created the Night King, no they did not, the Children of the Forest did to fight against Man. So they took a Man and created the Night King. Rightly so, because this particular Man loved a White female. And some say that's all the Night King wants, his bride back. She's in the crypts of Winterfell. It may all end there. We have 5 more Eps to find out... Stay tuned!

But same token, yes the Whites well outnumber the Living. But as we saw previously, you take out a Leader of a group, the followers fall too. So if the Night King falls, ALL of the whites will too, so it won't matter about numbers. But will this happen? The only skillful fighters to take him down is Jon Snow, Bron of the Blackwater and maybe lefty Jaimie 'The King Slayer' Lannister!

What would be interesting is... What does the White Walkers want? To rule the 7 kingdoms? That doesnt make sense.
What if their motivation is TO PUNISH humanity for not being worthy of ruling the world.

Like if the true God decided to design a challenge to see if humans truly could redeem themselves and work together for a better world? And in case they couldnt... Well, goodbye.

In the book he is almost singular as a parent in his desire to see her live: When other victims of greyscale are just abbandonned, he spares no expense to seek for a cure far and wide, eventually at least halting the progress of the illness. He also sticks around his crazy wife and doesn't kick her lunatic butt out.
